Daytrader Four Wheeling in Belize and Surfing in Costa Rica | Ninjatrader in hand

 

Hello Traders

I just wanted to drop you all a quick line before I drop off the grid this afternoon. Yep I am leaving the country for a vacation and FACT FINDING MISSION..

While I do plan on spending a great deal of time in the Water I am also going to be conducting my own “Feasibility Study” if you will.

I should back up for a minute… you see in July of 2010 I found myself in a position that provided me the ability to travel to Belize which is in Central America and is bordered by Mexico, Guatemala and Honduras. When I went to Belize I had one goal in mind. That was to find out if this country would be the perfect paradise for a Daytrader.

I spent roughly a year in Belize, and at the end of the day I decided that it will still be a few more years before the area is truly suitable for Daytraders who have high demands on bandwidth, speed and consistency. The country is developing rapidly however and I will definitely keep it on my Radar Screen or Market Analyzer, and wait for a good trade opportunity.

I could actually write an entire book on the Belize experience, but I will save that for later. NOW I am headed to COSTA RICA!! I hear the country is much more developed than Belize and I actually know traders that live in the area, so I am very excited to get there TOMORROW and plug my laptop in so I can see how well DTS works for the Daytrader who is on the go!!

You see that is the second part of the “Feasibility Study” that I am doing in Costa Rica. I am also going to put DTS to the test and see if I can actually trade it while sitting near the pool. MY wife thinks I am crazy for packing an extra monitor, but it will keep me quiet while she is sleeping in the early mornings, so that’s how I am pitching it to her.. You see I like to get up really early in the morning and watch the GC -Gold, CL – Crude Oil. She will want to sleep so I get to use that quiet time for my “TESTING” ha ha.

So now that you have the second piece of the story, wish me luck that my wife doesn’t throw my laptop in the Volcano. But then again, if she does then I guess Surfing in Costa Rica for a few days won’t hurt anything at all.

I will take pics and try to post while gone.

I do plan on returning to duty on May 20th 2012 but will try to post before then.

I’m Checking Out DTS, Are You?

I want to thank you for all of the excellent input you have provided over the past months in order to help me / help you to become consistently profitable day traders.

Your input and constructive criticism have been and will continue to be the driving force that is needed in order for me to diligently work to identify powerful day trading techniques and tools that you can actually use and “plug in” to your own trading plan.

If you have been following my posts for a while you know that we have looked at some simple yet powerful trading strategies that have helped many of you turn the corner with your own online trading and investing. It makes me happy when I hear success stories from traders.

I am not satisfied, however, because I know that for all of the traders out there that HAVE found TRADING EUREKA, that there are still some that have not quite made it and many more that are deep in the struggle to find a trading plan and system that works for them.

Many of you are still in the process of taking trading classes and looking at the multitude of proprietary trading products that are out there. You have not found what you are searching for. You still need to find the right system and you will know it when you see it.

That’s good, take whatever time you need, the market will be there tomorrow!

What’s DTS?

To be honest, it’s new for me too.  But here’s what I know:

DTS stands for Diversified Trading System. It’s called “diversified” for the same reason you’ll call an investment portfolio “diversified,” which is to say that DTS has three signal generators instead of one which is what you usually get in a system so that if one signal generator is not firing with good trade setups, then at least one of the other two, probably are.

Over the next few weeks I am going to dig into DTS and be sending out some reviews.  In fact, it would be really cool if you put your questions in the comments box below this post and I’ll be sure to hunt down the answers for you.  The two things I like out of the box are the greater number of opportunities and the reduced risk … but it remains to be seen how that happens!
